Key Responsibilities
  • Lead key programs with the Surgical Program Management Office to develop and harmonize our New Product Development Process.
  • Provide critical Project Management expertise to enable crisp execution in a cross-functional matrixed environment.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex problems, requiring the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
  • Review, edit, and write new standard operating procedures for Product Development.
  • Ensure compliance to design control requirements ISO 13485:2016 and FDA 21 CFR 820.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of medical device R&D, product development, and clinical/regulatory procedures.
  • Experience working with quality systems and comprehensive understanding of device master record systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical device standards and regulations.
  • Autonomy to manage large projects or processes, with limited oversight from manager.
  • Organizational impact: Contributes to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy.
  • Innovation and complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult, moderately complex, and undefined, requiring detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation.
