Job Title: Application Developer

Job Summary:

The Application Developer will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of custom applications for the firm. This role will work closely with end users and the development manager to gain practical experience and contribute to projects that meet the firm's exacting standards for quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with end users to examine processes and brainstorm potential improvements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business needs to provide recommendations on leveraging supported technologies for customized solutions.
  • Identify and explain available technologies for end users, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Assist in diagnosing and fixing technical support problems impacting custom applications and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems.
  • Assist in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining custom applications using C#,.NET, Blazor, Graph API, and other tools.
  • Develop technical and end-user documentation; provide training for end users as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in a business-related, technical, or scientific discipline.
  • 0-2 years professional experience in client-oriented roles, preferably in product development or legal service delivery.
  • 0-2 years of experience in software programming (e.g. C#, HTML, SQL, etc.) in either a professional or academic-research environment with an interest in further developing this skill set.
  • Solid foundation in software development best practices.
  • Familiarity with basic software development processes and technologies including version control, networking, web applications, databases, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with.NET C# web development preferred.
  • Experience with Agile principles, values, and practices is a plus.

Work Environment:

The Application Developer will work in a professional office atmosphere with a sedentary work environment that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events.

Benefits:

Holland & Hart offers a competitive salary range of $64,236 - $107,060, a discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance, and a robust wellness program, generous PTO and holiday pay for eligible employees.
