Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Engineer to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our Applications Engineering group, you will play a critical role in driving customer adoption of our sustainable solutions and ensuring class-leading customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead system performance-related technical escalations, driving time to containment and solution individually, with team members, and leveraging resources.
  • Participate and/or lead projects aimed at supporting customer transition to new technology nodes or ramping up specific technology nodes.
  • Own workstreams within larger projects, develop and drive autonomous project plans, and chase successful execution with regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define experiments, join customers in experimentation, and ensure efficient execution for accuracy.
  • Conduct data analysis, draw correct conclusions, and report results to ASML and customers.
  • Translate customer on-product issues into potential lithography or metrology problems, resolve these issues, and help customers maximize performance and use of ASML products.
  • Maintain two-way commitment with internal and external stakeholders, keeping all involved parties informed of progress.
  • Prepare technical presentations for customer meetings, provide new user support, and assist sales.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings.
  • Extensive experience with stakeholder and change management.
