Job Description

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Engagement Network Intern to support the advancement of student engagement at Penn State. The intern will work closely with the Student Engagement Network team to develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and involvement on campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and events to promote student engagement and involvement on campus.
  • Collaborate with student organizations and departments to develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and involvement.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Student Engagement Network's social media strategy.
  • Provide support for the Student Engagement Network's grant program and assist with grant writing and reporting.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Student Engagement Network's website and online presence.
  • Provide support for the Student Engagement Network's events and programs, including the Student Engagement Expo and the Student Engagement Summit.
Requirements
  • Must be a current Penn State student.
  • Must have a strong understanding of student engagement and involvement.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions

The intern will work on campus and will be required to attend meetings and events as needed. The intern will also be required to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

The intern will be paid $12.00 per hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
