Faculty Physician- Facial Plastic Surgeon- Assistant/Associate Professor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Board Certified Surgeon to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota. The successful candidate will have completed a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship and have demonstrable expertise/interest in facial plastic surgery, particularly in the areas of Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation, Soft Tissue Reconstruction, and Facial Trauma.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching and mentoring, and a commitment to building a broad practice and relationships with community physicians. They will also be enthusiastic about contributing to the department's research and academic mission.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
- Completion of a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.
- American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery eligible/certified.
- Demonstrable expertise/interest in facial plastic surgery, particularly in the areas of Rhinoplasty, Facial Rejuvenation, Soft Tissue Reconstruction, and Facial Trauma.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other specialties.
- Enhancing the knowledge foundation of the specialty through regular engagement in clinical and/or basic science research.
- Professionalism manifested by pro bono work and commitment to academic societies.
- Energy and passion to further develop and grow a practice both on campus and in a private setting.
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
