Craniofacial and Plastic Surgeon

Gillette Children's is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Craniofacial and Plastic Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional surgical services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team to provide high-quality surgical care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
- Develop and implement clinical criteria to ensure the quality and appropriateness of surgical care.
- Consult with primary care physicians to coordinate care and maximize patient outcomes.
- Participate in administrative, research, and education responsibilities within the Craniofacial section.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and training.
- Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and fellows in the field of Craniofacial surgery.
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
- Completion of a minimum one-year Pediatric Craniofacial fellowship.
- Qualifications to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota, including DEA license.
- Current certification in CPR (BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association).
- Clinical proficiency in the area of medical specialty.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing patients with complex chronic conditions.
- Ability to build trust and respect with patients, staff, colleagues, and external contacts.
- Capacity to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
