We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Physician - Facial Plastic Surgeon - Assistant/Associate Professor to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a key member of our academic department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring residents and medical students, and contributing to the advancement of facial plastic surgery research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including surgical procedures and consultations, in the areas of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
  • Teach and mentor residents and medical students in the department's residency and fellowship programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects and studies in facial plastic surgery.
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and professional organization membership.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and clinicians to advance the department's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
  • Completion of a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.
  • American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery eligible/certified.
  • Demonstrable expertise/interest in facial plastic surgery, particularly in the areas of rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, soft tissue reconstruction, and facial trauma.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members and clinicians.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration and teamwork abilities.
