Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Northstar Memorial Group, LLC. As an Independent Sales Contractor, you will be responsible for generating pre-need sales for our funeral home locations.
Key Responsibilities- Community Outreach: Build relationships with families in the community to educate and guide them in their pre-planning decisions.
- Appointment Setting: Excel in setting appointments and delivering pre-planning guide presentations to potential clients.
- Contract Management: Utilize our proprietary software, Navigator, to complete contracts timely, neatly, and accurately.
- Sales Tracking: Actively track all sales activity and ratios to measure areas of strength and areas that need improvement.
- Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service, a positive attitude, and a willingness to do 'Whatever it takes' to meet the needs of our clients.
- Experience: 2+ years of direct or in-home sales experience.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong people skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and take minimal direction.
- Trust Building: Strong ability to earn trust and use consultative selling techniques.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present to groups of people.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Conflict Resolution: Experience handling difficult situations with confidence and compassion.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid state driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
- Public Speaking: 2+ years of public speaking and presentation experience.
Independent Contractor. Commission-based pay only.
