Job Overview

Vanport Mechanical and Fire Sprinkler is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Diagnose and repair system issues, including electrical and mechanical faults
  • Clean, adjust, and repair systems to ensure proper function
  • Install system accessories, such as thermostats and air purifiers
  • Perform preventative equipment maintenance and warranty services
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment and recommend solutions
  • Promote and offer system accessories and services to homeowners
  • Conduct performance tests and adjust systems settings as needed
Requirements
  • HVAC Technician certification (EL06A in Washington, LEB in Oregon)
  • 6+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician
  • CFC universal qualification
  • Ability to lift/move a minimum of 75 lbs
  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools, meters, and hand-held electronic devices
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Clean driving record
  • Successful completion of a clean background check
  • Clear drug screen result
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
