About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and direct visitors in accordance with HMH Residential Care policies while maintaining confidentiality of all residents.
  • Operate the telephone and paging system, receiving, screening, and directing calls for staff members and residents.
  • Maintain all office and gift shop supplies and equipment, including tracking inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly declining balance.
  • Perform secretarial and clerical duties, including letter writing, scheduling, typing, filing, creating flyers, completing reports, postings, and operating word processing, copier, and mail equipment.
  • Complete monthly mailing, PNA disbursements, and meal tickets.
  • Maintain admission book, prepare wristband, door tag, etc. for all new admissions and update census daily.

Requirements

  • Must be able to operate and use all equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner consistent with their intended purpose so that equipment, facility property, and/or individuals are not damaged or injured.
  • Must use good judgment in the performance of assigned duties and report any conditions that affect workload and/or assigned duties to supervisor.

  • Telephone and paging system experience
  • Typing: 60 wpm
