Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with relevant coding education.
  • At least 1 year of experience in physician billing or coding.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10-CM guidelines and usage.
  • Knowledge of HCPCS and relevant coding certifications (RHIT, CPC-P, CCS-P).
  • A drive for innovation and a collaborative team spirit.
  • A commitment to enhancing customer experiences in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, assess, and document coding information related to CMS Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC).
  • Support the Risk Adjustment team in educating providers on coding compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Coding Leader to ensure compliance and appropriate reimbursement from CMS.
  • Contribute to the overall goal of improving healthcare delivery and customer satisfaction.

Work Environment:

Location: Remote work within New York State.
