Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with relevant coding education.
- At least 1 year of experience in physician billing or coding.
- Familiarity with ICD-10-CM guidelines and usage.
- Knowledge of HCPCS and relevant coding certifications (RHIT, CPC-P, CCS-P).
- A drive for innovation and a collaborative team spirit.
- A commitment to enhancing customer experiences in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, assess, and document coding information related to CMS Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC).
- Support the Risk Adjustment team in educating providers on coding compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Coding Leader to ensure compliance and appropriate reimbursement from CMS.
- Contribute to the overall goal of improving healthcare delivery and customer satisfaction.
Work Environment:
Location: Remote work within New York State.
