Assistive Technology Specialist

CareStaff Partners is partnering with a well-respected School District in Clackamas, OR to fill a contract position for a highly motivated and passionate Assistive Technology Specialist. The ideal candidate will be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment and work in a fast-paced setting.
Position Details:- Start Date: August 2024
- Hours: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
- Contract Duration: Full School Year
- Pay Package: $47-55 per hour based on experience
- Must have 1 yr experience as an AT/ACC
- Current Oregon Teaching License with appropriate special education endorsement, Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, or Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide comprehensive AAC evaluations, device recommendations, and implement a comprehensive communication system
- Be willing to train teachers, staff, and caregivers on how to use AAC devices
- Fulfill other assistive technology roles
