Salary: $74,600 - $93,400 per year.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Nutrition Therapy Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a specialist in this field, you will provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions, working closely with physicians and healthcare personnel to coordinate nutritional aspects of patient care. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing nutrition care plans, monitoring progress, and providing education to patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients with complex medical conditions
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare personnel to coordinate nutritional aspects of patient care
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers on nutrition-related topics
  • Conduct quality improvement activities to enhance patient satisfaction scores
  • Participate in research and data collection projects related to job assignment
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Maintain specialty certification from an approved nutrition-related area or have a Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
  • Competent in basic computer skills, including diet management software
