About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Emory University. This role will involve working with medically complex children and their families, providing expert clinical care and supervision. As a member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will work closely with professionals from Nutrition, Speech Language Pathology, Medicine, Occupational Therapy, and Care Coordination.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining their own caseload in our intensive day treatment and outpatient programs. You will work closely with Feeding Techs and Specialists to deliver individualized interventions in a clinic setting. Recent expansion has seen us establish locations beyond Atlanta, including the Center for Advanced Pediatrics and Children's at Forsyth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with ARFID, utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting to individual needs.
  • Supervise trainees at various levels, ensuring adequate opportunities for training and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that support established goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or related field
  • License-eligible or licensed to practice as a psychologist in Georgia
  • Eligibility for credentialing as part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Professional Staff
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
