About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic Market Intelligence team. This role will be responsible for researching and driving requirements for new technologies and conducting market research to understand the measurement of cloud services in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Gather, synthesize, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of data, including industry reports, news articles, social media, public policy, financial statements, and competitor information.
  • Insight Generation and Reporting: Produce comprehensive intelligence reports, presentations, and executive summaries for specific business opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and tailor reports to meet specific needs.
  • Data Visualization and Storytelling: Create visually appealing, clear, and informative data visualizations, info-graphics, and interactive dashboards to present complex data in an intuitive way.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest developments in Generative AI technologies and their applications in market research and analysis.

Basic Qualifications
  • 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging
  • Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives
