Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Senior Medical Assistant to join our team at Children's Hospital Colorado. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Prepare and administer medications, perform basic lab tests, and explain treatment procedures to patients
  • Update and file patient medical records, code and fill out insurance forms, and schedule appointments
  • Collaborate with patients and families to implement care plans and promote patient safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • One year of experience in a direct healthcare role, or additional experience may substitute for graduation from a Medical Assistant program
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR certification
