Job Title: Medical Assistant - North Campus

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at the North Campus. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical support to patients and assist care providers with clinical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for health care visits by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room.
  • Verify patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
  • Support patient care delivery by assisting health care providers during examinations; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic testing; disposing of contaminated supplies; cleaning or preparing for sterilization of medical instruments.
  • Assist in balancing workloads, coordinates and maintains clinic flow by coordinating with providers, and monitoring patient flow.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers / CPR.
