Job Summary

Spalding University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Nursing Instructor to teach in our School of Nursing. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for preparing and teaching didactic and/or clinical courses, assessing and evaluating student performance, and contributing to the development of our nursing programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Assessment: Prepare and teach didactic and/or clinical courses, utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Student Evaluation: Assess and evaluate student performance through various modalities, including quizzes, exams, skills check-offs, and clinical assessments.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of our nursing programs, including the creation of new courses and the revision of existing ones.
  • Service and Scholarship: Participate in departmental and university service activities, engage in scholarly activities, and contribute to the advancement of nursing education and practice.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience in a nursing program is desired.
  • Licensure: Current or eligible for Kentucky RN or APRN licensure is required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Current knowledge of nursing practice at the program level, demonstrated commitment to inclusiveness and collegiality, and experience in contemporary curriculum development and program development are desired.
