As a key member of our wealth division, you will be responsible for co-managing discretionary investment strategies and providing exceptional support to our Private Wealth Advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, construct, and implement investment strategies for clients of Westwood Wealth Management, ensuring alignment with risk management and compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Wealth CIO on asset allocation insights and investment risk analysis, providing expert recommendations to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Work closely with the Risk Management group to monitor and manage total risk in the portfolio, prioritizing downside protection.
  • Actively monitor market activity, strategy implementation, and portfolio drift, communicating regularly with other departments within Westwood.
  • Update Wealth Advisors on economic and market developments, providing timely and concise insights to inform client decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and/or MBA preferred.
  • CFA Charterholder preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in investment management, with education in lieu of experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
