Job Title: Patient Services Representative

Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to join our team. This role requires working in a fast-paced front office and call center setting.

About the Role:
  • Welcome patients, clients, and visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Check in patients, properly document registration, and verify patient demographics.
  • Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Collect co-pays and cash from patients, obtain authorization on credit cards, and enter payment into the computer.
  • File and retrieve medical records, perform copying and faxing duties, and answer webchat inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Practice and adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Values Statement, as well as all Sacred Circle Health Care policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining patient waiting areas, office, and files in a clean and organized state.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a customer service or reception position, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Efficient knowledge of office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, computers, telephones, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to organize and communicate clearly.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
  • Ability to learn and develop point of sale system and electronic medical skills.
