At Surgery Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Patient Services Representative will perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations. This includes insurance verification, pre-authorization, and registration, as well as collecting co-pays and out-of-pocket amounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations
  • Register patients in the system and collect demographic information
  • Collect and revise patient insurance information
  • Collect co-pays and out-of-pocket amounts at the time of service
  • Balance receipts and reconcile daily work batches
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least two years of medical office experience, including face-to-face interaction with patients
  • Knowledge of insurance and billing processes
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
