Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Aid Administrator II to join our team at the State of Nebraska. This role will involve facilitating, coordinating, and administering important deadlines and reimbursements for federal activities in our department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business administration, accounting, or a related field, and at least two years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices and grant reimbursement requests for accuracy and eligibility

• Communicate effectively with coworkers, program managers, grant recipients, and federal counterparts

• Draw down federal funds from grant management systems and analyze grant expenditures to forecast future spending and allowance within budget

• Reconcile time-keeping records for grant staff and administration

• Create payable and receivable documents in the state-wide accounting system

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field

• At least two years of significantly related work experience

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
