Business Banking Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at M&T Bank. As a key member of our business banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small business clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with small business clients to identify new business opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
- Work closely with branch partners to effectively sell to business customers and cross-sell other bank products.
- Evaluate credit information and requests, and recommend appropriate loan structures to manage risk.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals, including revenue, loan production, and deposit balance production.
- Manage a portfolio of loan relationships, including loan origination, servicing, and collection.
- Actively participate in business banking and retail sales sprints, achieving call targets and other product sales goals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, banking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of related sales/banking experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of personal computers and software utilized by the department.
- Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
- Sound credit skills necessary to evaluate loan requests.
- Good understanding of Cash Management, Merchant Service, Trade Services products offered to Business Banking customers.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $96,048.47 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
