About the Role

Community Music is seeking an experienced, highly organised, and motivated arts professional to be responsible for the effective management and creative content of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Board of Trustees and a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver and develop the work, including funders, arts and education projects, local communities, and youth projects.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to promote the arts and creative participation in social change.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate outreach projects, including partnerships with local providers and specific communities of need.
  • Develop and deliver professional training programs, including music leader courses and accredited training.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in arts management and leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative, management, and networking skills.
  • Clear record of achievement in arts management.
  • Passion for the arts and belief in the power of creative participation to influence social change.
