Overview:
The Surgical Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that support surgical and procedural operations. This role collaborates closely with specialty departments including Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Cardiology, and ENT.

Key Responsibilities:
The main duties include:

  • Coordinating surgery schedules
  • Sending appointment reminders
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Inputting pre- and post-surgical information
  • Arranging surgical equipment
  • Facilitating procedures with hospitals and surgical centers
  • Obtaining necessary pre-operative tests
  • Documenting surgery orders
  • Collecting essential documentation

This position also entails training related to access and privacy responsibilities.

Education Requirements:
Essential:
* Associate degree

Experience Requirements:

* Minimum of one year of relevant experience
