Job Summary:

The Surgical Coordinator will work closely with specialty offices to perform administrative duties relevant to surgical/procedural operations. This includes surgery scheduling, appointment reminders, keeping patient records, entering pre- and post-surgical data, and scheduling surgical equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and surgery centers, scheduling and obtaining pre-operative testing, writing, and communicating surgery orders, and collecting necessary documentation for surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and surgery centers
  • Schedule and obtain pre-operative testing
  • Write and communicate surgery orders
  • Collect necessary documentation for surgeries
  • Teach and raise awareness of access and privacy responsibilities to patients

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree
