Government Relations Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Government Affairs Specialist to join our team in Washington D.C. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic trade association, advocating for the interests of our members on Capitol Hill and beyond.

About the Role:

  • Monitor and analyze federal legislative and regulatory proposals impacting our industry.
  • Develop positions and advocate for SEMA's interests through written correspondence, comments, and testimony.
  • Build relationships with lawmakers, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent SEMA at congressional fundraisers and events.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in government relations, preferably on Capitol Hill or in a trade association.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Research and analytical skills relevant to government affairs.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated annual base salary of $120,000 - $140,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
