About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Computing Product Manager to join our team at Amazon EC2. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for defining and building the future of cloud computing.

Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative cloud computing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced product leader who can drive product strategy, development, and launch of new cloud computing products and features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with Amazon EC2's business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.
  • Own and drive product management across a range of EC2 products, including compute, storage, network, and accelerated computing.
  • Responsible for full lifecycle product management, including product definition, feature prioritization, messaging, pricing, adoption, customer interaction, sales enablement, and team development.
  • Work closely with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
Requirements
  • BS degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience.
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or business.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market).
  • Broad technical breadth and depth, including familiarity with data center technologies, virtualization, and public cloud.
