Job Summary:

PrideStaff Financial is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for compiling, preparing, and accurately entering timekeeping and payroll for all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and prepare payroll data, including timekeeping and payroll for all departments
  • Compute and disburse salaries, deductions, taxes, and other withholdings
  • Post payroll data and prepare reports, including tax payments, W-2's, child support and garnishments, and other year-end reports
  • Stay updated with the taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors
  • Process and monitor garnishment orders and other factors that impact payroll specifications
  • Assist in payroll audits and other clerical duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years payroll experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • QuickBooks Online and Excel experience
  • ADP and Gusto Payroll
