Key Responsibilities for the Financial Operations Role:
* Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments
* Reconcile bank statements and balance accounts regularly
* Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
* Monitor and track expenses, and assist with budgeting and forecasting
* Handle tax filings and compliance requirements
* Assist with audits and ensure internal controls are followed
* Provide support for financial planning and analysis activities
Preferred Qualifications for the Financial Operations Role:
* Proven experience as a financial operations professional or in a similar role
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and MS Office, especially Excel
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
* The Financial Operations professional should have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus
