Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair to commercial, industrial, and residential fire sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pump systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate diagnoses and repairs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of productivity.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler industry, with a focus on service and repair.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification.
  • Backflow certification.
