IT Infrastructure Project Manager Job Summary

Bull City Talent Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the move/buildout of one of our client's Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of IT Infrastructure PM experience, a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, and a strong understanding of power distribution, networking components, and compute/storage technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple projects involving the move/buildout of Data Centers, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution
  • Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate Data Center moves, leveraging expertise in power distribution, IDS/IES/IT closets, and structural technical impact
  • Manage complex, multi-team project schedules and budgets, utilizing enterprise PPM & service delivery tools
  • Develop and maintain architectural drawings, ensuring a general understanding of structural technical impact and ability to read, create, and maintain technical documents
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, including ANSI/TIA, J-STD, ISO/IEC, NEC, and BISCI, as well as Ethernet specifications and distance limitations, copper and fiber standards
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of IT Infrastructure Project Management experience, with a focus on large, complex facilities/M&A projects
  • Experience leading multiple projects involving the move/buildout of Data Centers, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of power distribution, networking components, and compute/storage technology, including Blade servers, vSANs, SQL, Oracle, and VMWare/Hyper-V
  • Excellent communication skills, with comfortability interfacing with stakeholders at all levels within the organization
