Responsibilities:- Assess and monitor patients' physical and psychosocial status, administering medications and documenting patient information.
- Rend and supervise care of clients on the unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Monitor medication administration and consult with prescribers as needed.
- Provide education and adherence to prescribed treatment protocols, promoting patient wellness and recovery.
- Facilitate wellness and medically related psychoeducational groups to individuals.
- Record all client information within the electronic medical record system daily.
- Assist RNs on a daily basis and offer nursing consult on emergency service evaluations.
- Work with clients to coordinate care with their PCP, psychiatrist, and other professionals.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- Satisfactory CORI background check.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in medical nursing.
- Knowledge of medical, substance abuse, and mental health nursing.
- Demonstrates proficiency in completing electronic documentation in compliance with grant requirements, agency, state, and federal guidelines and policies.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, staff, and providers.
