Job Summary

The Senior Technician position at Bridgestone Americas requires a skilled and experienced professional to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems, while leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Diagnose and repair drivability and electrical systems, brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust systems, and other complex automotive components.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Lead a team of technicians to achieve increased customer satisfaction and care, while staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technology.
  • Communication: Effectively explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-technical individuals, and assist fellow technicians in performing technical activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational-technical school program, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments.
  • Certifications: A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8, with the ability to maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications/licenses where applicable.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, with strong reading, writing, and math skills.
