Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Shottenkirk Davis Honda. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all areas/systems of assigned vehicles, working with team members to accurately document recommendations, diagnoses, and repairs performed, and staying up-to-date with manufacturer's updates and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair all areas/systems of assigned vehicles
  • Work with team members to accurately document recommendations, diagnoses, and repairs performed
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer's updates and training
  • Perform road tests and quality control of all work performed
  • Responsible for keeping the shop area neat, and clean, and accounting for all dealership-owned tools at all times

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Proficiency with tools and mechanical aptitude
  • Possess ability to accurately diagnose mechanical automotive problems and make recommendations
  • Factory training, ASE certifications or prior dealership experience is a plus
  • Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
