Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive isotopes to generate imaging information for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Administer radioactive isotopes in accordance with industry standards, department protocols, and hospital policies.
- Assess and evaluate physician orders for Nuclear Medicine examinations, ensuring adherence to departmental protocols.
- Position patients and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras.
- Provide patient education on radioactive isotope safety and radiation safety-related matters.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- ARRT or NMTCB accreditation
- IEMA-Division of Nuclear Safety licensed and accredited
- Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training Program
- CEUs consistent with licensing and accreditation requirements
