Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials to create images of the body.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cameras to detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body to create diagnostic images.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately.
  • Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine certification required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree required.
