Job Summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain, Inc is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Operating Officer to lead our automotive transmission manufacturing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of managers to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Monitor and improve Case Machining, Assembly of Transmissions, Safety, Quality, Cost, and Productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and output
  • Manage and lead problem-solving and countermeasure activities
  • Oversee production adherence to time/attendance and company policies
  • Hold direct reports accountable for actions and decisions
  • Lead direct reports in continuous improvement activities
  • Serve as Safety Champion in area of responsibility
  • Prepare and maintain production reports
  • Monitor Operations and structure company activities consistent with meeting business objectives
Requirements
  • 4 Year Degree or comparable background of work-related experience
  • 5 – 10 years job-related experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Experience with SAP and VAATZ software
