  • Ensure that all publications comply with established policies and protocols, coordinating with Public Affairs writers, copy editors, and designers.
  • Develop and manage publication schedules by liaising with authors and subject matter experts, serving as the primary contact for internal and external partners.
  • Implement strategies to improve the communication of research outputs, ensuring accessibility for the intended audience.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; an advanced degree in economics, business, journalism, or English is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in editing complex or technical content for broader audiences.
  • Exceptional editorial skills with the ability to quickly comprehend complex ideas and distill them into impactful copy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with economic principles and current economic issues, along with a keen interest in economics and public policy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with LaTex and Overleaf is advantageous.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing publication processes and data literacy to interpret complex charts.
