Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Process Assistant. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting delivery associates through each step of the delivery process, tracking delivery metrics, and training new team members on safety, compliance, and vehicle operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to coordinate and facilitate training activities for delivery associates.
  • Track and monitor performance, including on-road ride-alongs to measure quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support standard work and safety programs.
  • Train new delivery associates on vehicle operation and safety procedures.
  • Cultivate a safe and positive work environment, ensuring high-quality customer delivery and professional driver experience.
  • Be a subject matter expert for delivery associates and partners, promoting a positive culture and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews with delivery partners and establish trust and credibility through effective communication and professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Valid and active driver's license.
  • At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Eligible to drive in accordance with DOT requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of team lead experience.
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coach, train, and assist team members.
  • Solution-oriented, analytical approach to problems.
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and a high bar for accuracy and detail.

The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $54,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, offering a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits in addition to a competitive salary and equity package.
