Position Summary

In response to our ongoing expansion, Trusteer Financial is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager I who is motivated and eager to grow. This role will serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts, addressing their accounting and financial requirements. The key responsibility of this position is to nurture the client relationship by fostering a positive working environment throughout the engagement process, which encompasses resolving client inquiries, managing deliverables, and ensuring satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage actively with both our internal team and clients to oversee client deliverables and expectations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including the submission of payroll taxes.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts as necessary.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and thoroughness.
  • Oversee all elements of the accounts payable process, including reviewing, coding, and executing payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable duties such as invoicing, fund deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within a public accounting firm or startup setting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
  • CPA certification or progress towards it is preferred.
