Electrical Engineer for Battery Development

We are looking for a skilled Battery Safety Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring the safety of Apple's products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and battery development, with a focus on safety engineering and standardized testing. This person will be responsible for applying their knowledge of Battery design, testing, manufacturing, and integration to support the qualification and commercialization of modules designed for Apple's world-class products. They will also be expected to comprehend, interpret, apply, and use Battery Safety international and regional standards to guide, drive, and validate Apple designs.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent engineering degree in a field where safety and compliance are critical design concerns. Additionally, they will have 8+ years of experience in battery safety engineering or battery pack design. They should be able to curate data, analyze and present findings to cross-functional teams, identify and utilize first-principles to drive experimentation, design and failure analysis, and perform detail-oriented work. Experience conducting DFMEA (design failure modes and effects analysis) is a plus.

Salary:$165,500 - $293,800 per year.
