Data Modeler

RTA US is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing advanced battery models and control algorithms to improve battery performance. This role involves utilizing expertise in mathematics, machine learning, electrical engineering, and control engineering to develop models that estimate and optimize cell and pack performance in design. Additionally, the successful candidate will analyze large volumes of test data to understand cell performance differences and propose design improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop models to estimate and optimize cell and pack performance in design
• Analyze large volumes of test data to understand cell performance differences and propose design improvements
• Develop algorithms to estimate State of charge and State of Power of battery packs
• Develop machine learning algorithms or mathematical models to predict cell performance across various conditions
• Develop simulation models and tools to evaluate new battery technologies
Requirements:
• Strong experience writing SQL on Oracle
• Strong experience writing Oracle PLSQL
• Experience writing shell scripts
• Experience reverse engineering Oracle data models to write complex SQL reports
• Skilled in advanced SQL performance tuning, particularly involving complex PLSQL development
• Strong understanding of distributed transactions between Oracle databases
• Proficiency in OS X and Linux server environments
• Ability to document and communicate project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
