Drive Success in Battery Product Development

As a Battery NPI Engineering Program Manager Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development process of battery products at Apple. Your primary goal is to ensure that these products meet demanding technical, quality, and schedule requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management: Develop and drive project schedules, including management of international suppliers to integrate their work into project timelines.
  • Design Architecture: Drive project architecture and design with System teams and within Battery team to define and manage project scope.
  • Risk Identification: Identify multi-functional design dependencies and risks, and clearly define and document design trade-offs.
  • Communication: Apply technical depth to facilitate communication and collaboration across engineering functions and operations.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Drive failure analysis of build/product performance and implement corrective actions in collaboration with multi-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: BS + 3 years relevant experience.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally.
  • Technical Background: Technical background in Computer, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consumer Electronics Experience: Consumer Electronics experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, data presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and broadly to comprehend, communicate and drive sophisticated design trade-offs.
  • Problem-Solving: Drive and dedication with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Adaptability: Remain flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity, and rapid development cycles.
  • Product Development: Extensive experience in driving product or process development in scaling from prototype to final product.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Pay Range: $136,300 - $248,700.
