Position Overview

We are seeking skilled event streaming specialists to assist in the live broadcasting of various basketball tournaments.

Typical Schedule

Friday: 2 PM - 10 PM
Saturday: 7 AM - 10 PM
Sunday: 7 AM - 7 PM

Note: This role involves long hours and may not be suitable for everyone.

These events occur monthly throughout the year, allowing you to select which ones you wish to participate in. Your responsibilities will commence at 6 AM, where you will set up equipment including cameras, power supplies, and Wi-Fi connections for each court. Once the setup is complete, you will monitor the streams, adjust camera placements as needed, and dismantle the equipment at the end of the day. Training will be provided both online and in-person on the first day.

Requirements:

- Must have a vehicle, as you may be required to transport equipment.
- Compensation is set at $16/hour, with payment processed the Friday following the event via PayPal.

Responsibilities:

- TRACK: Manage and oversee all event equipment, including camera gear and promotional materials.
- EXECUTION: Efficiently set up the streaming system at each venue, ensuring safety and urgency throughout your workday.
- MONITOR: Maintain a steady and reliable stream for each game, troubleshoot any equipment issues, and communicate effectively with the BallerTV team during the event.

Enjoyment: Experience the thrill of watching live sports while you work.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time, weekend contractor position. Some events may require travel up to 40 miles one way.

Compensation: Rates will vary by location but will start at a minimum of $16 per hour.

Important Note: Daily shifts can exceed 12 hours, and a weekend tournament may require over 30 hours of work. This role demands physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Familiarity with iOS devices is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in live event production, sports, or customer-facing roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience in grassroots sports such as soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, football, or wrestling is a plus.
- A valid driver's license is required for transporting event equipment.
