Job Title: Leave Specialist

At The Salvation Army, we are seeking a highly skilled Leave Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health-related laws, including the Family Medical Leave Act, Short-Term Disability, Workers Compensation, and workplace accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Family Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Coordinate benefit payments for all leaves
  • Process disability insurance claims with Chesterfield Insurance Company
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and timely communications to Payroll
  • Provide support to employees dealing with health problems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three to five years of leave administration experience
  • Prior experience with Ceridian Dayforce or UKG is strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to handle personal information with sensitivity and confidentiality
