Job Title: Full-time Supervising Paralegal

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Paralegal to join our team at Central Minnesota Legal Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of paralegals, providing administrative and legal support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of paralegals in the Minneapolis and Anoka offices
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals
  • Manage the paralegals' schedule and workload
  • Lead team meetings and facilitate office functions
  • Draft letters and pleadings, client communication, e-filing, file creation and maintenance, and entering accurate information into the firm's electronic case management system, LegalServer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Paralegal AS degree, Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
  • Previous supervising experience preferred
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
