Job Summary:

The Utility Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on exterior facilities, including grounds maintenance, trash collection, and equipment operation and maintenance. This role will also involve adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting any inconsistencies, thefts, or damages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on exterior facilities, including grounds maintenance, trash collection, and equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and report any inconsistencies, thefts, or damages.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and litter, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate and maintain various outdoor maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Perform minor repair work on outdoor furnishings, hospital signage, fences, or pavement as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • California Driver's License.
  • Ability to use common tools and knowledge of smartphone use.
  • Knowledge of database software for data entry.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Eye for detail and professional presentation and attitude.
