Job Summary:

The City of Palo Alto is seeking a highly skilled SCADA/RELAY Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Utilities Department, you will be responsible for designing, assembling, and installing automation control cabinets, as well as programming and maintaining electronic and electrical system components. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability of our Electric, Water, and Gas systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, assemble, and install automation control cabinets
* Program and maintain electronic and electrical system components
* Troubleshoot and repair network and electrical devices
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology, Software, or Computer Science, or related field
* Completion of an accredited apprentice program
* Strong knowledge of PLC programming, electrical theory, and SCADA systems
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
