We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Night Auditor to join our team at a unique all-suites boutique hotel in NW Portland. This role involves working 40 hours per week during the night shift, specifically from 10 PM to 8 AM, Tuesday through Friday, with a one-hour paid lunch break that must be taken on-site.
The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor and a passion for sharing the charm of Portland with our guests. This position requires a self-motivated individual, as the role involves independent work during night hours. Our establishment prides itself on offering a distinctive Portland experience, featuring locally sourced breakfast options and custom-made furnishings crafted in Oregon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nightly audit processes to ensure accurate balancing of daily transactions.
- Manage collection and processing of credit card payments.
- Distribute guest folios via email.
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities such as blankets, pillows, and toiletries.
- Disseminate promotional materials and notices to guests.
- Mail invoices to direct billing accounts.
- Prepare the rooftop terrace for daily use, including setting up seating and umbrellas.
- Set up breakfast in the lobby at 6 AM and manage daily breakfast deliveries.
- Handle guest reservations over the phone.
- Promptly address guest inquiries through email.
- Prepare daily housekeeping reports for morning staff.
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, providing support with directions and reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas and shared office spaces.
- Learn to utilize the hotel Property Management System (PMS), with knowledge of RoomMaster being advantageous.
- Follow directives from supervisors and assist with additional projects as required.
- Possess knowledge of local restaurants, attractions, and events.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and be flexible in covering shifts for holidays, vacations, and sick leave.
Benefits:
We offer performance-based bonuses, medical benefits with an annual HSA contribution of $3,850, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, company events, and a 401k plan with a 100% match on contributions up to 10%. (Benefits may vary based on position and hours worked.)
Requirements:
